In this section, you will see how you can open your saved theme/template. There are two methods for opening a project as following:
1. From Start-up Screen
You can select the ‘Open’ option from the startup screen as shown below. When you select ‘Open’, a browse window will open. You can locate your project there and a “Double – Click” on the desired project will open it in Template Toaster. If you want to open any recent project then just click the arrow to get a list of recently opened projects. Just select the desired project to open it .
2. From File Menu
You can also select the Open option from the FILE menu and can open your desired theme/template.
Once you activated the product, you can also save your project for future references. So to save a project, you have following options:
Save Button
When you are done with the designing part of your theme/template, you can save it by simply pressing save button from top menu of the screen.
Save
You can also save your theme/template by choosing the ‘Save’ option from FILE menu.
Save As
You can select the ‘Save As’ option from the FILE menu to change the location of your project or to create a new copy of it .
Close Button
After saving your theme/template you can close it by simply pressing Close Button. You can use the same theme/template in future by opening it and that will be discussed in detail under Opening Project part.
Preview of a Theme/Template: Before exporting, you can preview your theme/template that how it looks in the browser. For that, we have two ways:-
1) Quick Access Toolbar: Select preview option from Quick Access Toolbar where you can also make choice for the required browser.
2) File Menu : Select File Menu –> Preview .
– Export a Theme/Template: Now, you can export your design/theme/template in WordPress by clicking this button and at the same position, you will get the export option of the CMS you are working on.
2. After clicking the Export button you will get a screen as shown below:
1 Folder / Zip
In this screenshot you can see that you have an option of exporting the theme/template in the folder or zip form, so you can select accordingly that you want your theme to be in a zipped or a folder form.
2 Right to left language support
If you want your theme to Support Right to Left Language then you just need to check the checkbox of ‘Right To Left Language Support’.
3 Folder Name / Path
After that select the folder name and path accordingly.
4 Content
This check box facilitates you to export the template with/without content. If you check it, the template will be exported with content.
5 Click Export
Click on Export. Your theme will be exported safely.
3. You can Export your theme/template in different CMSes. As you can see in the screenshot shown below that there are 10 different CMSes, so you can export your theme for your desired CMS the same way as you have exported in WordPress (Explained Above).

This screen will display on the main window by default, so you can choose a color scheme and typography for your project beforehand. If you would like to change the color scheme and typography later too, you can do it easily by selecting the General tab –> Scheme. TemplateToaster provides the flexibility to change the text style anytime during the designing process.
COLOR SCHEME
TemplateToaster avails you with the hundreds of pre-installed color schemes which are BOOTSTRAP based. You can see all the color schemes by scrolling the list down and choose the desired-one for your project.
TYPOGRAPHY
For defining the text style of your template/website, you are given typography options such as Font Family, Font Size, and Line Height. You can specify the font size and line height in the corresponding boxes given or go with the default values.
ADD COLOR SCHEME
Even you can customize your own color scheme with “+” button given under the color scheme list. When you click this button, the More Schemes dialog will open as shown below. You can select different Primary, Secondary, Success, Info, Danger, Warning colors to specify a new color scheme and name it as you wish. For details, check out More schemes section.
ADD FONT
When you click the “+” button under the typography list, a new dialog will appear as shown below. In this Custom Fonts Dialog Box, you can browse more fonts from a huge collection of Google Web Fonts, Custom Fonts and System Fonts. So, you can add any font to the Typography list according to your need. For more details, Custom fonts dialog section.
Font Size
In this text box, you can specify the required font size for the chosen typography scheme. By default, it’s 14.
Line Height
This is to specify the line height where the default line height is 1.42. You can make changes as per your need.
It is a drop-down list of different template categories. You can choose one category from many like Business, Education, All categories etc. Then the Template Gallery will display the related sample templates according to the choice made.
SAMPLE TEMPLATE GALLERY
Click Modify to select a template from the sample templates and customize its design according to your preferences.
START FROM SCRATCH
Click Modify on ‘start from Scratch’ screen to design your template from scratch.
This is the Main user interface of the TemplateToaster software from where you can start designing your new theme/template.
FILE MENU
File menu contains a list of various commands to perform different functions like creating a new project, saving the project, opening project, exporting the project and much more. For details, please refer the File Menu section.
Quick Access Toolbar
QAT displays a list of frequent actions performed by the user: Undo, Redo, Save, Open file, Preview, Export. Please refer the Quick Access Toolbar Section for detailed explanation of these options.
GENERAL TAB
General Tab facilitates various options for designing a theme/template/website. These options include sample Templates, Color scheme, and Typography, layout, CMS Selection option, Add/Edit page template, CSS and Javascript editors, and favicons. Refer the General Tab section for details.
BODY TAB
This tab contains options for designing the body of the theme/template or website. You can choose background, texture, and effect, type of background i.e fixed/scroll and you can also customize the scroll up button for the template body from Body Tab section.
CONTAINER TAB
This tab displays various options for deciding the background, layout, and effects for the page. For further elaboration, please refer Container Tab section.
HEADER TAB
This tab includes options for designing the header which includes header position, background, layout, effects, foreground images, text areas, title, and slogan. It also contains settings for configuring the logo and social media icons. For details, please refer Header Tab section.
MENU TAB
It displays options to design the menu. Such as some preset styles, menu position, background, layout, effects, logo, foreground image, text areas, menu button designing, submenu designing and edit menu. These all options are elaborated in Menu Tab section.
SIDEBAR TAB
Side Tab has options for designing the sidebars, such as sidebar position, background, layout, effects, height. Please refer Sidebar Menu for details.
CONTENT TAB
It Includes all the options for designing the content part of the template/website. It has some preset styles for content, various options to set content properties, background, typography, texture, effects, shadow, lists, and table. Offers similar options for designing the posts and the comment form and the comments. Even, you can export a theme with no or dummy content and add new content later from the WordPress dashboard. For further details, refer Content Tab section.
FOOTER TAB
This tab has options for designing the footer part of template or website. It has preset styles of the footer, options for layout and background designing, choosing a texture, effects, and shadow, browsing custom images to add in the footer, drawing text area, choosing footer typography and social media configuration settings. For more details, see Footer Tab section.
WIDGET AREAS TAB
This tab gets active when you select WooCommerce, WordPress, Magento, Joomla, Opencart. Module Position Tab will appear in place of Widgets Tab If you choose Joomla. Block Reference Tab will appear if you choose Magento or OpenCart. It has features to design the widgets/Module/Block, like container properties, container background, header properties, header background, texture, effects, shadow, border, height, typography, content properties and content background. Let’s move to Widget Areas Tab to know more about it.
ELEMENTS TAB
Element tab contains options for designing the BOOTSTRAP based elements like Buttons, Input field, Pagination, BreadCrumb, Block Quote, Label, Alert, Badges, Line, CheckBox, and Radio Button. Please refer Elements Tab Section for details.
SLIDESHOW TAB
It includes all options for creating a slideshow such as a slideshow position, transition effects, button, pagination, background, layout settings, effects (texture, effects, shadow), foreground images, text area and logo browsing. If you want to remove the slideshow from your theme/template/website then just uncheck the checkbox. You can get further information in Slideshow Tab.
You can select desired CMS option from the start-up screen and go ahead to design a theme/template for your website.
WordPress
WordPress is the simplest and most popular content management system. Millions of the websites are using this content management system. WordPress is mostly used for the following types of websites:
• Blogs
• Portfolios
• Membership websites
• Shopping stores
Drupal
Drupal is an open source, PHP-based content management system. It is a flexible platform to develop complex and large websites. Following types of websites are preferably made with Drupal:
• Government websites
• Large e-commerce and Business
• Social networking
• File storage websites
WooCommerce
An adaptable e-commerce platform which takes care of logistical and technical requirements by providing the hundreds of free and paid WooCommerce extensions. Some of its main features are:

Prestashop

Open
You can select the ‘Open’ option to locate your project from the Browse window that will open after clicking “Open”. A “Double – Click” on the desired project will open it in the TemplateToaster. If you want to open any recent project then just click the arrow to get a list of recently opened projects. Just select the desired project to directly move on that.
